- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Terrible food. We stayed overnight in Hay en route to Adelaide. Unfortunately we chose Riverina Hotel for dinner. I had Surf & Turf. Half the steak was very rare. The other half was overdone. They didn't rest it before plating so the plate was full of bloody juices. The salad was a mix of shredded lettuce & spaghetti with a couple slices of tomato & onion. My wife had rissoles. They looked like they'd been splattered on the hot plate as they were all sorts of weird shapes & sizes. One was raw in the middle. I hate wasting food but halfway through we called it quits & left. Gordon Ramsey would have his work cut out at this place.By Al Gard, October 13, 2016
